President-Elect Trump Tweets - Morning of Nov 13, 2016

Posted on 11/13/2016 7:36:30 AM PST by SamAdams76

Mini-Tweet storm from our President-Elect this morning. Looks like the focus is on uniting the country and showing appreciation for Never-Trumpers and MSM extending olive branches to him.

Our President-Elect seems to be in a magnanimous mood this morning. Looking forward to a week of great things as he puts together his Administration.

Ronald Reagan had a Republican Senate for the first six years of his Presidency.

But he had nothing like Twitter. He was limited in what he could do with talk radio.

Trumnp is in an incomparably stronger position than Reagan.

I really like this man, but I do wish someone would convince him to give up the Twitter account.

So President Elect Trump will continue to put out Tweets. How nice. How unsettling for the leftists who expected him to quiet down.

Glad also to see those who are now finally appreciating President elect Trump’s victory. They are late to the table but at least in words they are there.

Sorry to hear about the NY Times. This would be a major loss to fish wrappers around the world.

And the liars are trying to say Trump is backing down from killing Obamacare because he’s now saying he will kep pre-existing condition protection - the problem for these liars is that Trump has always said that so no he is not backing down.

Think Donald Trump will forget this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xd3kr-QpeM

[snip]

If we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished.

[snip]

If Donald Trump’s plans were ever implemented, the country would sink into prolonged recession.

[snip]

His tax plan in combination with his refusal to reform entitlements and honestly address spending would balloon the deficit and the national debt.

[snip]

But you say, wait, wait, wait, isn’t he a huge business success? Doesn’t he know what he’s talking about? No, he isn’t and no he doesn’t.

[snip]

Frankly, the only serious policy proposals that deal with a broad range of national challenges we confront today come from Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich. One of these men should be our nominee.

[snip]

Mr. Trump’s bombast is already alarming the allies and fueling the enmity of our enemies.

[snip]

I’m afraid that when it comes to foreign policy he is very, very not smart.

[snip]

Now, I’m far from the first to conclude that Donald Trump lacks the temperament to be president.

[snip]

There is a dark irony in his boasts of his sexual exploits during the Vietnam War.

Dishonesty is Donald Trump’s hallmark.

[snip]

He’s not of the temperament of the kind of stable, thoughtful person we need as a leader.

[snip]

Think of Donald Trump’s personal qualities. The bullying, the greed, the showing off, the misogyny, the absurd third grade theatrics.

[snip]

There are a number of people who claim that Mr. Trump is a con man, a fake — thank you.

Let me say that again. There’s plenty of evidence that Mr. Trump is a con man, a fake.

[snip]

If I’m right, you’ll have all the proof you need to know that Donald Trump is indeed a phony.

[snip]

Mr. Trump is directing our anger for less than noble purposes.

[snip]

Here’s what I know. Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University.

[snip]

He’s playing the members of the American public for suckers. He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.

[snip]

His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president and his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.

Your wish is like telling FDR to stay away from that radio microphone. It’s a new age.

Actually I hope he doubles down on using it.

Really? I think Twitter (and other Social Media) is what propelled Trump to victory. If he had no way to bypass the MSM, he would have been "Palinized" early in the game.

I do think that now he's going to be out president, he should have his Tweets filtered by a trusted staffer before going out, so that he does not inadvertently put something out there unpresidential.

But as a medium, this is the way President Trump is going to be able to go directly to the people and bypass the filters of the MSM. This is an invaluable tool that will help President Trump get things done.

As an aside, it looks like he has picked up 1m plus followers since Election Night.

I know....those 1 AM twitter blasts might be the death of him. If you think about it, all of your very worst decisions in life were made after 10 PM. My rule is, if it’s not a good idea at 7 AM, then it’s not a good idea at 10 PM...which I learned after some bad 10 PM decisions. Trump needs to follow my rule. Stay off the Twitter!!!!!
