We have seen very large protests in major cities all over America since Donald Trump won the election, but the biggest one of all is being planned for January 20th.
Radical leftists are calling for thousands upon thousands of activists to descend upon Washington D.C. on Inauguration Day, and they are planning to disrupt the inauguration festivities as much as they possibly can. And if you doubt that the “Not My President” movement can pull this off, you may want to consider that 25,000 protesters showed up in New York City on Saturday on very short notice. These people are bitter, angry, frustrated and incredibly motivated. At this point they still have more than two months to organize their forces, and many are expecting that this is going to be the most chaotic Inauguration Day in American history.
One of the Facebook pages that is attempting to recruit protesters for Inauguration Day is entitled “Protest at the Inauguration: Stand Against Trump, War, Racism and Inequality”. So far, 7,800 people have indicated that they will be attending on this page alone, and another 26,000 have expressed interest in the protest. The organizers of this particular page are very clear about why they believe that the inauguration of Donald Trump must be protested…

It’s very simple for Trump to strip Soros of his citizenship and send him packing.I’m fairly certain that most, if not all, of his activities could be considered treason. Other presidents have most likely not done it because they didn’t disapprove of his meddling or were paid off to turn a blind eye. Trump would do so much for this country by handing this thing (Soros) over to Russia. I hear their jails don’t pamper people like him.

Exit polling by STEM college grads vs other degree grads would probably show a big tilt towards Trump. That would be a very interesting piece of data
I attended the 2001 inauguration and parade. There were hordes of disrupters along the entire parade route shouting chants and trying to prevent Bush supporters from getting close enough to see the parade. They left trash everywhere when it was over.
I want to go to this year's inauguration but fear the organizing power of the left now that they have social media to rally their troops. They were nasty in 2001 but not violent. I also went to the first of 2 Freepers Inaugural balls. They were both wonderful.
This year I think that Trump , who has already said that he wouldn't take many (any?) vacations, can say that he needs to get started doing the work of the American people and skip all the parties.
Agreed, President Trump must not be in the open during the inauguration. I truly believe a sniper will be there, probably many. If Trump is gone nobody will carry on his mission, Pence isn’t Trump, if Trump goes our agenda goes, we might as well not have won the election if something happens to Trump

I agree! Is there any reason that the swearing in has to be outside in DC? Wasn’t Johnson sworn in (yes it was an emergency) on an airplane.

Disagree. President Trump should be there, in plain sight, although perhaps with clear polycarbonate screens for protection. First, the overwhelming majority of capable snipers are conservative. [It only takes one crazy sniper, but the Secret Service has studied the problem for years and knows/watches every point with a line of sight on the steps.] Second, I do not want President Trump to start out showing fear of the American people, even of the (rather large) nutcase wing of the democrat/socialist party.
The organizations and individuals paying for the “protests” will be liable for personal injuries to police, bystanders, and damage to property.
