It's not a Trump interview without a little bragging, but this one was a little startling. When pressed by Stahl if he'd accept the president's salary ($400,000), Trump claimed, as he did on the campaign trail, that he would be foregoing the salary.

"I think I have to, by law, take $1, so I'll take $1," Trump said, also claiming he had no idea what the salary was.

Back in 2013, hundreds of thousands of Federal employees, from DoD nurses to mechanics to cop - were forced to take a significant pay cut to due layoffs (known as "Furloughs.") These were because of budget cuts due to sequestration. The layoffs happened, and for some, like DoD employees, they endured a 20% pay cut for 2 months.

Obama promised to take a %5 cut in his annual salary in "solidarity."

One problem.

They were just words. Obama was not about to give up one penny of his taxpayer supported salary and lifestyle.

I’m confused as to how you could love it. Stahl accused Trump supporters of causing violence. I haven’t seen a single report of Trump supporters doing ANYTHING at all, except the frat boys flying a victory flag around Wellsley College causing all the little snowflakes to cry. It may be that a Trump supporter has smacked a lefty upside the head, but those events are few & far between.

The violence has ALL been on the left & orchestrated by the left. Stahl didn’t think that was worth mentioning.

I watched the whole thing it was great. My favorite was when they were discussing the wall and she said R's are talking fence? He said wall and a fence in some places and she kinda interrupted him and he said, "its construction, I know construction fence or wall doesn't matter."(paraphrasing) You got to see him say it, its great.

Another thing I noticed, when talking about Supreme court decisions he said if Roe V Wade is overturned, then it goes back to the states, good answer. But later he was asked about the homosexual marriage in the Supreme Court and he said its a done deal, no worry's for homosexuals.
