Bill O'Reilly and Megyn Kelly's cold war heated up on Tuesday, the day both TV hosts were out promoting their new books.
O'Reilly suggested that Kelly is making their employer, Fox News, "look bad" by talking about alleged harassment by ex-Fox News boss Roger Ailes.
"I'm not interested in making my network look bad. At all. That doesn't interest me one bit," O'Reilly said on CBS.
Anchor Norah O'Donnell asked: "Is that what she's doing?"
O'Reilly: "I don't know. But I'm not going to even bother with it."
He also cast some shade on whether Kelly's book will sell a large number of copies.
Behind-the-scenes tension between the two hosts has occasionally shown up on TV. But Tuesday's comments were especially eyebrow-raising.
O'Reilly was on "CBS This Morning" to promote a new children's book, "Give Please a Chance."
Kelly was on a competing morning show, ABC's "Good Morning America," to promote her new memoir "Settle for More."
In the memoir, Kelly described Ailes' unwanted sexual advances. She felt she had little choice but to write about it because, in July, Ailes was sued by ex-anchor Gretchen Carlson. The lawsuit triggered an internal investigation. Kelly and numerous other women at Fox spoke with the investigators.
Kelly and her legal counsel did not go into detail about the alleged harassment at the time, but Kelly added information about it to her book, knowing she would be asked about the allegations during the press tour for the book.
When the CBS anchors brought up Kelly's book to O'Reilly, he said, "I'm not that interested in this."
Gayle King asked: "No?"
O'Reilly: "No-- I mean, it's over for--"
O'Donnell: "In sexual harassment? You're not interested in sexual harassment?"
O'Reilly: "I'm not interested in basically litigating something that is finished

Bill always did strike me as lay back and take it kind of guy.
Dear Bill and Megyn....
Let’s play nice children.
We won an election. Let’s not blow the most supportive media we had in the first week.
Here’s some breaking news. Neither is anyone else interested in what Kelly has to say.
Yes, she is, Bill is correct.
Also, as a person who detests Bill O’Reilly for the most part, I think his talking points last night and the opening of his show which was called the Delusion of Inclusion was the best analysis I have ever heard or seen him do.
That was quite good. it was thought provoking, and it made me think about it.
And the gist of it was is that essentially everything the Democrat party does excludes Americans.
That analysis made Fox News look good, and it is so far beyond anything that Bimbo Kelly could even conceive of.
I would much rather watch an old man in a nice suit deliver analysis like that than watch a floozy expose her skin and babble on about herself or whatever.
He JUST figured that out, did he?
We won an election...Megyn lost....
I heard Bill say something else presumably about her a few days ago. That some at his network were trying to “make the election all about them”.
Convinced she is trying to use this “bad-mouthing” as leverage against FOX while at the same time trying to come across as a moral crusader for women’s rights. She had no issue with Ailes until the lawsuit. All of a sudden Trump is a sexual predator, Ailes made her “uncomfortable”. Where was her “courage” then? All these women were fine at FOX until they got fired.
Kelly was absolutely crestfallen by Trump’s win. She belongs in no subset of “we” when it comes to politics.
How can you stay at an employer who does that?
O’Reilly is no hero. If he is making this attack, it must be because it is safe to do so. Her blood is in the water.
>>We won an election.<<
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Kelly’s candidate did not win. She is still as obnoxious as ever.
When the Mideast is in flames and the Midwest is in recession, Megan, slathered in makeup, obsesses over peripheral issues. I think she and Effie Trinket of the Hunger Games are the same person.
Bill O’Reilly just figured it out, shit!!! Kelly is out for herself and damn everyone else....she does make Fox look lit shit....screw her and her Killer B’s....Why would Fox pay this louse lady $20M???? I do not watch her any more.
The MK ME book tour.
world alert!!..
hot looking young blonds sometimes get hit on by men.
that is all..end of world alert...
heh heh
Kelly’s contract demand was that she be paid more than FNC’s current salary champ, none other than BOR himself. Likely he’s more concerned for personal rivalry than any concern about FNC or America.
Fire Megan. Hire Omarosa. Piss off Piers Morgan.
She is, it’s all about her, she’s gotta know what she is doing is bad for herself, yet she keeps on doing it
