I believe that I prefer Cruz for AG, rather than SCOTUS. If that works ok, then consider for SCOTUS.
That’s why I said maybe...My opinion. leave Cruz where he is, we’ll take care of him at next election.
Have you had many adult beverages this evening?
I think that maybe a better choice for SCOTUS would be John Cornyn. He was Chief Justice on the TX SC.
I agree.
Curz may be begging for a job. When it comes to a 2nd Senate term, curz knows he ain’t got none!
I guess Cornyn will be the last Republican Senator from Texas.
.
What’s on your conscience?
There are seven justices on the SCOTUS that have nothing but total respect for Ted Cruz, from having worked with him.
Your baseless comments hang in the air like a fart in church during communion.
.
.
Yes, Cruz is not to be trusted.
Yes
They were friends long before they ruffled each others feathers in the primary race.
trump knows ted would be a pi bull and no one would accuse him of being beholding to Trump
It is a great pick.
Ted will bring down PP, Sanctuary cites, Clint-oms. etc. etc. etc. and no one would stand in his way not scare him away.
I don’t no if it is wise but one thing I am sure if cruz was attorney general no one would be able to accuse trump of putting a lackey in who would cover up anything he did that was unethical. unlike a previous president.
Will A.G. Cruz have a few words with Comey?
Why?
It’s a terrible idea. Cruz would jump at the chance to take Trump down and libtards will constantly be pushing proposed “investigations” and legal issues against Trump. Dangerous, dangerous to give Cruz dynamite to play with....
I’d be ok with Cruz for SCOTUS but not for AG.
Pence would have. remember, Pence supported ted until it was obvious that Trump would win. Then he switched teams just before the Indiana primary.
Pence and Cruz are real close, Ted even campaigned with Pence for trump.
As the head of the transition team I can see Pence convincing Trump to bring ted in for the AG. Then after a few years when the next SC seat is open, he could then appoint Cruz as his second Nominee for the high Court
This all make perfect sense. Ted and The Donald were great friends before the primary fight. I can see them mending fences since Trump has said in the past that Ted would make a great SC Judge.
As the SG, there would be no accusations of favors, plus Trump can then let Ted go after PP, after Sanctuary cities, after Clinton foundations, and many other things that many others would not.
Remember, how precarious the position will be after Obama AG’s, Cruz is the best choice he could make. Thee could not be a better pit bull whom NO ONE could scare away from doing his job. He is already hated by most of the establishment and no one invites him to parties and do Ted has nothing to lose if he is attacked for doing his job.
Rick would be better at Secretary of Agriculture.
I never make “baseless” comments. Cruz told the attendees at the convention to “vote their conscience”. He was soundly boooed by his own supporters.
I am a Trump supporter. I do not trust nor respect those who attempted to stab Trump in the back after a fair win.
That is all I have to say to you. As you appear to be more familiar with the smell of fart, I leave you to contemplate your support of Cruz.
More than a few, and most likely he would replace him.
I think he would be very by the book as far as AG functions go. If chosen, I'm hoping he would be in a "I can't wait" mindset regarding prosecuting Hillary. He is a close friend with Mike Lee who would be a great consultant. Not sure if he's friends with Trey Gowdy, but I'm sure regarding Hillary, they could get along.
Overall, I'm leaning more and more thinking Ted as AG is a great idea. Rudy would be good too. Jeff Sessions has a lot of experience and was Alabama AG.
You know, today I was thinking we are blessed with such a deep bench. Can you just imagine the dregs Hillary would have picked? Yes indeed, we did dodge a bullet in this victorious battle, but the war continues. Fight on!
Cornyn is 18 yrs older than Cruz. Putting someone on the SCOTUS with less than 3 likely decades of service is not such a hot idea in given how tough it can be to maintain a conservative court.
