What is the vote count in the Senate re: how many Repubs are in the Senate? Is it just 51?

It would be really mature of you to research that before you "assume" it here.

Pence gets a vote if there’s a tie.

Actually Gram is supporting him, believe it or not. So is Democrat Joe Manchin, who will have to act like a perfect Republican to even stand a chance at re-election in West Virginia.

If the vote is in the next Senate, Ayotte won’t be there to screw the Republican/Conservative side. Another plus for our side.

Graham has already endorsed Sessions and we will have 52 votes plus some democrats like Joe Manchin that will vote to confirm because they know him from over the past 20 years. They will confirm him but he will have to explain and take a lot of tough questions

If he resigns and the governor appoints a replacement then that replacement could vote for him.

Why not? He will be President of the Senate and can vote on tie votes. Am I missing something?
