No, there is only 1 Speaker - currently Paul Ryan. If Tim Ryan wins, he will be House Minority Leader.

But I agree, it could get confusing if a reporter doesn't specify.

Exactly. It said "Dem Rep Ryan" - could just as easily have been Paul.
