Here are my 2016 picks from the big box retailers.

Nine days ago, I bought a Sig P238 in .380. It is a mini 1911 or similar to the Colt Mustang. Tomorrow, after the CA 10 day waiting period, I can pick it up.

I got a “Big Boy” in .357mag, 5 years ago, and it’s a sweet, slick-operating rig.

That is not exactly a deal on the M&P Shield.

I got mine for $325 a few months back.

I got a Henry catalog in the mail a few months back - very impressed. A lever action is another one I want in my gun rack, although I must admit that a loop-handle mare's leg would amuse me endlessly.

.357 through a 20in barrel is significantly more powerful than .357 through a 4 or 6in barrel.

1850fps for 125gr bullet.
