As long as they work in support of Trump’s agenda, I don’t care who is the SOS. It’s Trump’s decision, not mine.

Plus anyone not working out gets shown the door. Whoever gets it pleases the Donald or hears his trademark phrase.

Yeah for Sec State.

Have to go to the red states to find conservative professors. They do indeed exist.

Even in Ivy League Schools, there are many professors that are closet conservatives.

Just think we need some fresh faces.

Remember too that cabinet level posts are still bureaucratic so it will not fit or it would be difficult to find a private sector business type. So that’s why I was thinking of a professor type. They can deal with the endless meetings and greetings. In fact, esteemed professors are accustomed to entertaining visiting scholars from abroad. So I would think the job is not that far afield for them.

But please NO ROMNEY!

Why the patronization?

This is not a dictatorship. We don’t elect leaders because we think they know “better than us” - we elected Trump to be our voice and because he was speaking the things we already know to be true. We trust his judgment yes and thus far he has had a pretty good track record with regard to who he surrounds himself with.

He made restoring integrity to “The swamp” a centerpiece of his campaign.

The Secretary of State is 4th in line to the Presidency.

Character matters.

This is not your average business enterprise. This is the United States of America. The weight of history is upon us. Dignity counts.

The greater the height, the greater the fall and Mitt Romney is bad bad news. Unacceptable track record in terms of proving where his interests have always lied. Unacceptable behavior.

You are answering someone else, I think, or you only read every other word and extrapolate from a disjointed portion of the text..

I would say Mittens should get the nod—He’s got the intelligence and the stature-BUT he must eat some crow and denounce what he said about Trump. He may not want the job—being 4rd in line to president. BUT Trump ought to keep him on a short leash—As long as he serves Trumps agenda—OK but if he starts to mouth off—he should be fired.

You said Trump is less likely to make a mistake than you or I: I say he needs the wisdom of the people who put him in office.

I'm going way out on a twig with a double prediction....first, it won't be Romney (Trump has been toying with him and will pull the rug out from under him soon.....remember, Donald NEVER FORGETS)....and, secondly, Giuliani doesn't want it, never has wanted it (for reasons of his own like his age, perhaps his health, his thriving business, etc.).

Bolton would work for me.....but just barely as I'm not all that enthusiastic about him for this particular appointment.
