The matter is resolved. Trump is a big picture guy. He wants a legacy, not to waste time looking back at this. Not everyone who gets pulled over for speeding gets a ticket. There is discretion. This is done. It’s been looked at thoroughly. Time for some forward looking solutions to the issues facing our country, most importantly keeping our country safe from terrorists, leadership from the top and restoring our place of respect throughout the world.
He can't just walk away from this. He'll lose a ton of credibility before he's even inaugurated.

Uh -- what? It's pathetic how many Freepers I've seen who honestly believe the Trump administration will be incapable of doing more than three things at one time.
P.S. — Nothing will do more to “restore our place of respect throughout the world” than to have the U.S. government bring down the hammer of justice on a former Secretary of State and her f#%&ed-up husband who have spent much of the last 15+ years running around shaking down governments all over the world for tens of millions of dollars in “donations” in exchange for political favors.
There are things that can be done ‘behind the scenes’ ... the one that leaps to mind is for the IRS to revoke the Clinton Foundation’s status as a 501c3. That would blow the whole slush fund up in their faces - worst thing that can happen to a charitable foundation. BTW, the IRS unit responsible for monitoring 501c3 organizations was headed by Lois Lerner .... no surprise that she got off as she did & the CF has been doing as they please (pay to play, lining the Clinton’s pockets, etc). Per several “experts” who have looked at the CF situation, they are way outside of their original determination letter/charter & should lose exempt status.
