This might be a bad thing.
Remember, everybody hates the Jews - this could turn all of the factions in Syria against Israel.
That wouldn’t be a problem since Israel can take them - but it could cascade from there into another Arab-Israeli War which is a little more iffy.
Actually that’s a good thing, since Prophetically speaking the next major Middle East War will actually see Damascus wiped off the map, along with most of Israel’s neighbors.
No nation this late in the game can touch Israel and expect to get away with it.
