President Obama says both he and first lady Michelle Obama will be “very active” in working with people at the grass-roots level to support progressive causes once he leaves office. But despite her popularity and natural public speaking ability, Michelle isn’t interested in a career in politics.
“Michelle will never run for office,” the president told Rolling Stone in an interview conducted the day after the election. “She is as talented a person as I know. You can see the incredible resonance she has with the American people. But I joke that she’s too sensible to want to be in politics.”

I don’t think she will either. I actually think think she seems to hate politics. She just enjoyed the perks of being FLOTUS.
She'll get appointed to several boards and perhaps get on CNN's payroll for doing nothing, and do quite well financially.
She’s barely worked a day in her life. She’s been on the payroll, but work? Naw. A campaign means working every day from sun up to sun down. She’s not up to that.
Judging by the size of her ass, she never runs for anything.
Michael has been pre-empted as first LBGQTCNN president by the current president. Michael might be the first open one if not the first obvious one.
People whose coteries are composed of morons, idiots and imbeciles can truthfully say such a thing.

Given his own inability to scoop ice cream, he probably thinks she’s (Michael’s) super-duper.
I don’t think she could withstand the scrutiny ... tho maybe there’d be no scrutiny of her as there was none of her husband. I keep forgetting, that only applies to Republican candidates. My bad.

Well, it took a team of 30 people to make her look presentable to the public, so this is a good thing.

She’ll announce her political intentions 2 minutes after she divorces him.
She won’t; I’ve never heard anyone voice a positive opinion of her (including black co-workers that at least initially supported her husband). She is not a likable person, and has even less experience than her husband.
I don’t even see Dems letting her get to the top of the ticket; they just paid a steep price for affirmative action figureheads. For the time being, there are still too many American-Americans voting for her to get anywhere.
