A couple weeks ago, I taught him a German word for a higher quality of German Riesling: hochgewachs. Last Sunday, during a visit to our local winery, he made good use of the term. As he was pouring Sprite into a plastic cup, he said "Opa, here's my hochgewachs!"

Hochgewächs. (Pronounced HOCH-geVEX [with a long "o"].)

I've noticed that Hillary is rarely photographed with babies, including her own grandchildren.

I doubt this is a "privacy" concern for the children. More likely she is so uncomfortable with babies and toddlers that even professional photographers can't get a picture where both Hillary and the kids look relaxed and natural.

Actually I've long wondered how rabidly pro-abort women (like Hillary, Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer) can feel comfortable holding a newborn.

Yup...and I’m not buying the “Bill Clinton warned them” bit...this is just BC covering his ass like he has always done, even if it means slamming some of his and hers closest advisors and friends. He is trying to keep the shine on himself .... remember, they have a large payroll to meet every month and they have to find a way to make donors believe they are still a power center.

I wouldn't assume it was in progress before Election Day at all. I don't think anyone in the Clinton campaign expected them to lose all three of those states -- especially Wisconsin, where Clinton never even made a single campaign appearance after she was nominated.

They would have had more legal avenues to pursue challenges in these states if they had gotten started on it sooner.

It’s OK if you don’t believe that Obama told Clinton to concede, but in that case you might as well take all of these reports and dismiss them out of hand. I think this Ed Klein has been the source of most of these reports from inside the Clinton team.
