In PA per 11/9 AM count, Trump 2,912,941, Clinton 2,844,705.
After nearly every county has updated: Trump 2,961,875, Clinton 2,915,440. Lead is now 46k according to these guys.
They are saying the change was driven by updated counts out of Philadelphia:
Clinton 584,020 (from 560,542) Trump 108,748 (from 105,418)
This is not as part of a recount, but from final official releases by county in PA.
No idea. There are liberal blogorama sites that are spreading rumors - there will be no recount unless something extreme happens. The date for recount was 11/21, contesting the election (which is supposed to be for local elections) is 11/28, the one Jill applied for, and you have to have proof, not hypothetical speculation.
For sure there’s no statewide recount. I have no idea whether election officials in Lehigh County calling it a ‘recount’ of six precincts means it actually is a legally required recount.
You are correct. The recount deadline date passed Nov 21. This was just tidying up a few precincts in the Philadelphia area. CMT’s post #53 is a good explanation as well. All in all, it was not surprising to hear that judge in Montgomery County not having much sympathy towards Ms. Stein’s case.
I’m not buying this 33% drop in DT margin this DecisionDesk site defends the found 20k votes as cleanup of absentee balllots etc. BS. There are dates for a reason in election cycles incl when absentees have to be in. So they can be counted election nite after verifying the person had no really voted. And NOT,cleaned up over 4 weeks post election day. If this change holds despite a court order or event a court date, Philly is just going ahead anyway and manuf. votes. And oh, not eh variance changes and possibly under the (free) recount number? STOLEN
You can choose to believe whatever you want, but maybe the Office of the Philadelphia City Commissioners works better for you. Sorry.

I’m told that in the State Senate recount in my WI county, they had under 30 absentee ballots where the voter neglected to sign the envelope. The last I heard, the decision was left to the canvassers as to whether or not to count them. Don’t know the decision.
David Leips Atlas has it 2,959,839 (48.37%) to 2,895,436 (47.32%). 64,000 lead and over 1%.
I’m not saying everything done in Philly is on the up and up, but I’m also thinking that the Republicans would also have people watching this. And, if they wanted to manufacture votes, they would still need to manufacture 46K to beat Trump. Government is inefficient. I can see how it would take 3 weeks to report election results. There is a reason for deadlines being 2-3 weeks post-election day. And the main reason is that you want to take every effort to ensure all legal votes are counted, so that someone like Jill Stein doesn’t do what she’s doing...oh, wait.

Philly has now counted the provisional ballots and the absentee which is why the lead dropped.
Provisional - HRC 7,673, Trump 866
Absentee - HRC 13,072, Trump 2,006
That recount must not be going well because the Left has fired up the elector-flipping talk again.
Yeah, WI is showing steady progress with no change and PA will probably be done Monday. Finally, the Green lawyer of recounts in WI, Bob Fitrakis, is whining that the election boards are not giving him unfettered access to ballots.
Thanks for researching that. I know it’s easy to blame “dirty tricks”. Maybe “blame” isn’t the right word. Many of us are on edge with this recount madness. If Jill Stein hadn’t started this business, no one would have noticed or cared about the number shift. But, here we are, and she’s crazy, so we are all going a little crazy, too.

Yeah but we will lose if we give em an inch. We can't rely on that margin if they can 'find' 30,000 votes in between court dates to decide IF a recount can take place and the Rats are going ahead recounting and giving the courts the finger..NOW they have 89% of the reset of the state to find 0.6% of the margin needed.

Your math is correct, but they really can’t just “find” votes. These votes were always there, and the judge in Montgomery county probably knew that when making the decision yesterday. I know it’s Philly, but I really don’t think Republicans are just sitting back while the Dems carry in boxes of ballots. See post 69 by Methos8 confirming these were absentee and provisionals, and they were always there and taken into account in all decisions made regarding the election. Can 17K votes still come in? Maybe, but if they weren’t already known possibilities, it will raise red flags quickly.

This doesnt pass the sniff test. Elections have deadline incl for absentees etc. TO GET THEM IN ELECTION DAY SO VOTES ARE ALL COUNTED AND WINNER DECLARED. On election day not over time 3.5 weeks election day thru to Dec 4 or such. These magic votes arriving 11 am today should be in on election day and its BS to include them in 1st time today.Replicate this cross a few more districts and you have ur winner. HRC.
Why would I want to shoot myself? Trump’s been elected President & he will be sword into office next month. I am happy & relieved this is so.
