Can Hillary still win the election? Teen Becomes Seventh 'Faithless Elector'
the International Business Times ^ | 12/01/16 AT 3:25 AM | SUMAN VARANDANI

A teenager from Washington state has become the seventh "faithless elector" to protest Donald Trump's election as president of the United States. Levi Guerra, 19, said she will join the ranks of the so-called “Hamilton electors.”

Guerra is one of the 12 electors in Washington state who have been mandated to vote for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, on Dec. 19, as part of the Electoral College. The group believes that it is the responsibility of the 538 electors who make up the nation's Electoral College to stop an unfit person from becoming president.

“I stand behind Hamilton electors,” Guerra said, in a statement to the Guardian Wednesday. “I promised those who elected me that I would do everything I could to keep Donald Trump out of office.”

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.
Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.

There are 62 counties in New York State.
Trump won 46 of them.Clinton won 16.

Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.

In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond)

Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.

These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3, 797,000 square miles.

When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.

Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) don’t and shouldn’t speak for the rest of our country

Per Wikipedia's article on IBT: Founder Etienne Uzac, a native of France, came up with the idea for the global business news site while a student at the London School of Economics.

Commies, foreigners, ignorant of the US electoral process.

Future postings from IBT should be disregarded.

They are all going to vote for a moderate republican and hope that if the Trump electors see the votes, they will join

OK, sorry to plead ignorance here, but how in the Frack do you get to be one of these people?
Seems this will be the next weakness the Neo-Marxist liberal will exploit.

It is amazing at how stupid the media is. So many “news” outlets have run this story and don’t correlate that Clinton won WA and thus it’s electoral votes. These snowflakes (elector and the media toolbags) are the epitome of stupid.

Like the Colorado Electors, Pledged to Hillary who won’t vote for Trump. This is FAKE NEWS.
In Washington state, this teen was pledged to Hillary. This is more FAKE NEWS.

The media are doing all they can to convince other electors to change their votes. One way is to trumpet stories of people like this dimwit from my state. It’s really a great, big nothingburger.

Some days, I am embarrassed to be from Washington (the State).

This is great. Let these “faithless electors” change their votes. They’re all Hillary electors, so once all the votes are in, Hillary might be below 200 EVs. Sure looks like repudiation of the Dems to me, if not even their own electors feel it necessary to vote for them.

A true faithless Clinton elector would be one voting for Trump.

No. Has nothing to do with anything. Cankles won WA, so it doesn’t matter what WA “faithless electors” do.

In states Trump won, state legislators will not permit “faithless” electors.

There has been ONE “faithless elector” that counted in the last 16 years-—a Dem who went from Kerry to Silky Pony.

I understand that there are 38 Electors in Texas who vowed not to vote for DJT.But sadly, they were all pledged to The Former Twelfth Lady.
