Hunstman is a bad choice. He went native in China. He would see his job as representing Chinese interests to the US rather than US interests to China.
I listened to what Trump said about China and trade in his speeches, and thus have some notion of why this pick is not a no-brainer for him. If he wanted a traditional diplomat with broad knowledge and excellent background, John Bolton would be the one. If he wanted to reward a loyalist or former rival (like Obama did), it would have been Rudy or Romney. Trump is clearly looking for something else, and I beleive familiarity with China and experience in negotiating trade deals are high on the list of criteria. If that means Trump picks Huntsman, fine - I trust Trump who clearly has more information than I do.
That’s going from bad to worse. I honestly would prefer Romney over Huntsman. Huntsman is the liberal “Republican” who considered running independent against Romney in 2012 because....he thought Romney was too conservative!

All this article says is that two sources close to Trump say he is looking at others beside Guiliani and Romney for SoS candidates. The rest seems to be pure speculation and wishful thinking by the author.
Guiliani belongs at home...He knows everyone and he will be helpful in many capacities...A Czar for All Occasions.

His father was ok, he built the Huntsman Cancer Center here in Salt Lake City, but as far back as I remember the Huntsman and Romney group did not like each other...
Huntsman was Governor of Utah, I didn't live here at that time and from what I have been told, he wasn't that great...
He was an Ambassador of somewhere, again he wasn't that impressive...
He is a high power Mormon, believes that you should go out and convert people to the religion and move them to Utah...amnesty in my opinion...we have a big group of Somalians here because of that, and having one living above me the starting of last summer, I can tell you they are a mess...
To explain the example: They didn't have furniture, they had pillows, they cooked in the center of the kitchen floor, not the stove, they stunk, they were loud and very tribal...after the other tenants in this building complained, the landlord paid a visit and they were promptly removed, they had to put up new sheet rock on the walls, new carpeting, tile, paint and blinds...that all cost a lot of money...
