Our so called bare bones package is now $225/month. The first year was similar to your costs. Then, it went up every year

You could cut down the cost of the landline by going with Ooma. My phone bill is under $5 a month - mostly because of taxes. Ooma hooks to your internet and is like Vonage except cheaper. Mine cost $80 and another $20 to port my number
