It was a curious time when he was. That was before his fangs were widely visible.

I noticed the back of the chair looks old and torn. Wonder if Trump actually posed for that picture?

I noticed the ‘divided’ barb.

Means the media still can’t grasp why HRC lost.

First honor for the Donald - after the election of course! Next honor, they can give him the Nobel Prize in Economics, for changing the game plan of world economics. Game theory earned mathematician John Nash (A Beautiful Mind) the Economics Nobel, and he was just a theoritician. Donald is actually remaking the model for how foreign economic systems and managers/players interact with the U.S. Donald is remaking the world, showing how economic change for the popular benefit will improve thesystems in which countries interact.

All manners of models get considered in this world except a “grace of God” model. Other models borrow pieces of it (Keynesian economics certainly does, in disguise) but nothing treats it explicitly.

This sounds like something that Mike Pence might even pitch into, but that’s too far down the road to say for sure.

Based on their own criteria ("the person who most influenced, for good or ill, the events of the previous year") Trump was the only possible choice. Though part of me thought that they would still go with Hillary.

However, look at their short list:

HILLARY CLINTON sigh...

THE HACKERS    Ok, maybe

RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN     Huh???

THE CRISPR PIONEERS     Who??!!

BEYONCÉ   You've got to be kidding me

The last issue of Time’s Person of the Year that I ever bought was when they named Pope John Paul II for his world travel and bringing together a divided world.

Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t interpret “Divided America” as an anti-Trump sentiment but instead a Trump challenge. We have been divided during the Obama years especially and Trump is the man who can bring us back together.

If the liberal moon bats would give Trump a chance, perhaps even their miserable lives might improve. They have been sooooooooooo brainwashed against Trump, who has said he represent ALL AMERICANS, perhaps something good will come their way. Nope, instead they think that only THEIR opinions are the only ones that count. Liberalism is a brain disease much worse than Alzheimer's.

Of course, not the least similarity in coverage to the fawning over Barry when he was chosen in 2008:

Yes yes, Ciexyz, I picked up an international herald tribune once in a while, but I tended to read it and leave it behind. For some reason the Time stayed with me the whole time. I probably still have it in a box in the attic. Not eager to find it...

Do I remember that occupy wall Street (later just occupy) receiving allocades of the sort (of the year) back patting?
