“Why not ——————————?”
Please refrain from even putting anything like that out there.
I’m not advocating anything, God forbid.
I am making the point this anti-Trump talk is liable to end in tragedy.
Some people want to step over the line. That’s wrong.
It’s never been far from my mind.
I know you’re not advocating, but there’s enough out there in the Looney Left that may see it as justifiable.
It’s just something best left alone.
“The rules are: Whatever the left says they are.”
Subject to change, always: it’s whatever suits them, whenever it suits them.
Yup.
People who flout the law are not going to respect its spirit.
The difference between breaking the law and killing a human being is a merely a difference of degree, not of kind.
And if you don’t respect the former, why should one be inhibited by the latter?
This is why all of this organized effort to undo Trump’s election is taking us in a direction we shouldn’t be going in the first place.
I searched this article for critical thinking describing her rationale for such an unprecedented, and likely nation-ending, move. Here’s all I found:
- 50 experts write a letter denouncing him (”are we supposed to ignore them?” Yes)
- Trump might not think through the use of nukes
- “Trump hasnt much bothered himself with intelligence briefings.” (Ever hear of Obama’s attendance? Also, Pence has 2 per day.)
- “He ignored 37 years of diplomatic precedent by chatting with the president of Taiwan, upsetting China.” (It was arranged by Bob Dole.)
- “He spoke like an inarticulate ninth-grader with Pakistans prime minister, according to that countrys readout.” (Really? Pakistan? Plus, he’s a private citizen - he can’t really say anything substantial.)
Parker is worried that Trump doesn’t care for how Washington does business?
Neither do most Americans. He has a better appreciation for the fetid swamp of that town than the so-called smartest people do.
And he beat them all to become President and it sticks in their craw.
Not playing by the rules? Bull Crap! Your problem is that he called YOU guys out for not playing by the rules, and wouldn't back down.
* It was CNN and the DNC that fed answers to Hillary.
* It was the DNC that hired homeless people to attack Trump rallies.
* It was the Washington Post and other leftwing media that decided to be openly anti-Trump rather than impartial.
* It is the DNC and establishment that is so used to lobbyist type corruption they think its normal.
* It was the left wing media that pushed false narratives and misquoted Trump continuously.
You're just pissed off that you guys cheated like hell and still lost...and you're not even honest enough to admit it to yourself even after it doesn't matter any more. Election is over. Trump won. You aren't going to flip enough Trump electors by writing stories that confuse Trump electors with Clinton electors who are going to do a protest vote.
I agree with you mostly, but in my experience, there are just some things that you don’t put to words, as there are some real lunatics (read HilLIARY) that think it’s OK if it’s been spoken.
Just MHO. Worth what you paid for it.
Here’s Ms Parker’s email:
kathleenparker@washpost.com
Parker says that the electors have a moral duty to vote against Trump, But she ignores their moral duty to keep their word and vote for the candidate that the public instructed them to vote for. Parker is immoral for recommending that these electors deny the will of the people.
I agree with you that’s not OK and the question is are Trump’s opponents willing to stay within accepted boundaries?
Trump reached out to them with an olive branch. If they don’t want to grasp it, its their problem.
They had their chance in 2012. The to Move On.
Once again, realize that you are dealing with people that have the emotional stability of HilLIARy, subject to nuclear meld own on a moment’s notice.
meltdown - damned spell check.
Her again, what a dreg on society.
Then what's the point of having it? If HRC had won, would it still be OK for the electors to switch their votes?
Good point.
The people who wouldn’t play by the rules now have the chutzpah to accuse Trump of not playing by the rules.
What goes around, comes around. Trump doesn’t owe them a thing.
