If you’re wondering if the new normal in American politics includes a president-elect rage-tweeting at companies he dislikes, engaging in near-daily hissy-fits over media coverage he finds insufficiently obsequious, and engaging in constant social media warfare over slights to his ego, you’d be right. Witness the emerging gangster capitalism of Donald Trump. No one has felt much genuine shock that Donald Trump refuses to divest his control over his empire in a real, legally binding way. Only a fool would believe Trump would draw a sharp, bright line between his personal and family financial interests and the interests of the nation. Since the election, he’s demonstrated in both word and deed that he intends to fully monetize the presidency to benefit his companies, integrate his children into consequential government decisions, and put the bully in the bully pulpit.

If you want to know what gangsters look like, look no further than the Obama administration. They enforce their will against the American people's wishes and want to take away their guns so they can't defend themselves just like all Communist and German tyrants do before they start shooting their troublesome citizens in the head and burying them in mass graves (sort of like the mob does with their landfill companies). But if you can't do that you harass the $hit out of your citizens by passing endless regulations that raise the cost of utilities, groceries, services, etc...so they have to deplete their savings and go broke or raise the crap out of their taxes by bringing in more illegal immigrants and then forcing the to pay for their goodies. If not that you can alway use the IRS to target those people you don't like that speak up against you. Or better yet force them to pay for healthcare that's designed to retain the lion's share with a high deductible and pay out as little benefits as possible which they can't really afford, THEN make them pay a huge penalty because they couldn't afford it in the first place. All while you go on multi-million dollar vacations, eat the finest food, drink the finest wines, and play golf all day long.
Does that sound like what a Mafia boss would do if he had the power of the presidency to you? It sure does to me.
