The New York Times reported Monday that Republican president-elect Donald Trump was considering former primary opponent Carly Fiorina for the nations top intelligence post.
Mr. Trump will meet on Monday with Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive, to discuss the job of director of national intelligence, The Times reported, citing a senior transition official.
If selected, Fiorina would be the first female director. She would also be the first director with no prior government experience, although she was the chair of the informal CIA External Advisory Board under the Bush administration.
Fiorinas selection would be unusual given the lingering bad blood between the two following the primary race. Trump told voters they should vote for Fiorina because she was unattractive, telling Rolling Stone, Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?

Why?
ICarly Fiorina for Director of National Intelligence.
Now, there’s an oxymoron for you.
He wants her, but not Palin?
“Is this a joke?”
yes.
“Well, we know that none of their printers would work”
Well, they’d work until their starter cartridges petered out after a couple of days, forcing one to buy new cartridges costing more than the printers, and THEN they’d stop working!
Went to the Brother line.
Mucho better than Has Problems.
Early in the primaries, it was rumored that Arnold Swharzenneger(?) was about to endorse Carly Fiorina. It was debunked when it was discovered he was only trying to pronounce the word ‘California”...

She came across in the debates as a borderline insane hawk with no indication of being smart about world affairs - just shrill and angry
NO
Maybe it’s just a nice gesture, after the debate ‘face’ off.
Nothing more than a nicety.
It won’t be Carly.
What? She would be completely out of her depth and was a terrible CEO. Hopefully this is Trump just stringing her along for fun. Pick another general.
Fair points all Lurkin - especially the ATF reference.
I really thought Mike Flynn would end up as the DNI, but, as the National Security Advisor, he’ll have a LOT more access to the president and influence over not only the IC (Intelligence Community), but also DoD.
As for Carly, I’m curious as to what, if anything, she even knows about the IC. Question #1: How many agencies and organizations within the IC? Question #2: Which agencies comprise the so-called Big Five?
More fakery.
Not in a million years. He will not do it.
I saw her statement after the fact and Mitt, THAT is how you show remorse or show that you have buried all grudges. As a result, I can now look at her skills with a more open mind. SOS, NO!. DNI — Makes sense because of her understanding (supposedly) of technology and cyber security. At this point I’m not completely angry about this. I’m listening
