I understand that is what is supposed to occur, but part of me still fears he is going to make an extraordinary claim and appeal to the American people to stay in office for the indefinite future. Or, declare martial law. We should never underestimate his craven desires.
I hope I am being paranoid.
Obama’s Martial law would be administered by the Trump, Pence, Kaine, or Ryan Administrations, depending on the circumstances. Congress decides, not the ‘American people’.
Paul Ryan as President would be a coup by the Uniparty against the will of the people.
I doubt those in power have the stones to play this out beyond using it to amplify baseless and absurd accusations designed to weaken Trump.
If Trump does not take office it will be a disaster of the likes not seen in this country for more than a century and a half.
