I apologize if anyone is offended by my name on this ... the information is vast and varied .... in light of the renewed interest in Joe Arpaio's BC announcement, the entire obama fiasco goes deeper

Actually American service men are governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice or UCMJ which is much harsher than normal "American" laws because the UCMJ applies to all servicemen equally no matter where they are stationed.

The UCMJ ALLOWS for individual states and the Federal government to enforce their laws but the UCMJ can legally enforce much stricter laws since many federal laws do not apply to service men.

I believe that the UMCJ can even allow foreign governments to enforce some of their laws on service men stationed in those countries in the matter of civilian law and not military law.

We failed to do a damned thing. This was OUR fault.

That just isn't true, my friend. A good many of us presented the known facts to our political reps and encouraged many others to do the same. What else was possible short of a bloody uprising?

IMO, many of those reps who were lawyers and former judges knew full well what was occurring. They also knew very well the political environment would have simply given us Hillary in his place. They and the entire nation were between a rock and a hard space.

I seem to remember that she was not the sole arbiter of obama’s eligibility, but she was representing the House of Reps, and Dick Cheney signed off as President of the Senate.

That will NEVER happen, because everybody wants to be a patriot, until it's time to do patriot stuff. We're a Nation of pu$$ies who (despite many having taken an oath) refuse to protect and defend the Constitution. This has been the BIGGEST, most direct attack against the Constitution we've EVER seen, and yet, here we sit, thumbs in our noses.

We're a Nation of pu$$ies who (despite many having taken an oath) refuse to protect and defend the Constitution.

That would appear true vis-a-vis our politicians and our military, however as I mentioned, with Hillary ready to step into O's shoes, they may have decided she posed a greater threat than not immediately resolving the NBC issue. In which case it was a matter of prudent restraint.

...yet, here we sit, thumbs in our noses.

At this stage in the exercise, it may certainly appear that way. The issue is yet very much alive and it seems likely Sheriff Arpaio was waiting for an administration that would act on his findings rather than bury them.

Have a nice weekend.

It should have been dealt with between November of 2008 and January 2009. We failed to protect and defend the Constitution. Nothing will ever change that.
