I found while Trump was saying seemingly outrageous things during the primaries that it is unwise to second guess his judgment.

Think of it the same way as people not being used to photography, the telegraph, telephone, radio, and TV.
Most people are used to a filter between their top leader and themselves, that makes every utterance from him sound like the most inspired prose ever conceived. It made that person seem almost divine because all you ever saw was a flattering painting of them in history poses.
The above list stripped away those filters. It puts us closer to the man in the high office, but you cant have that and the filtered image at the same time.
