Reactions to the violent Monday evening attack on a Berlin Christmas market that left 12 dead and 48 injured will be closely watched for their potential to affect next year's crucial elections in Germany.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel is the current favourite as she prepares to run for a fourth term in next year's elections yet faces mounting opposition from anti-immigration populist political groups and parties, such as the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) and Pegida.
Success in local elections this year indicate AfD is in a position to feasibly pick up sufficient votes to secure seats in Germany's national parliament in the elections – a first for a far-Right party since the Second World War.
Although her popularity has since recovered some ground, Merkel saw it dive on the back of her decision in 2015 to open the country's borders to around a million refugees from conflict-strewn zones of the Middle East.
SHE is singularly responsible for this. She and her government lackeys KNEW better and they did it anyway. They welcomed invaders into Germany with open arms.
Absolutely speechless.
Remember, their media is worse than ours, and is state supported. Bavaria will surprise us, but mostly them.
We will watch with great interest to see if Wikileaks can expose German voters to well hidden but shocking truths about this woman and the person who is really behind that facade ... as was done with Hitlery Clinton....

Doubt it. Not even AFD advocates leaving the EU. The Germans have transferred their national sense of identity to Europe and the EU in order to try and escape from the shameful connotations of being a German patriot. Many Germans apparently cried when we voted to leave, which was mystifying to me until I realised that they actually think of Europe as their ‘country’ and identify more strongly with it than we ever could have.
It seems to me Merkel is the most dangerous leader in the “civilized “ world.That the German people haven’t risen up en masse against her is baffling.
I guess there’s a lot I don’t know or understand about the mindset of the German people. National suicide seems an unlikely idea to be agreed to but that’s what it looks like is happening.
One has to wonder if taking down the Berlin Wall was such a great idea.
I spoke to a Ph.D. German Engineer last month, a woman with whom I worked with on Solar Panel Arrays.She's brilliant.
So she asked me, if I was planning on voting for Trump. I told her yes. She made a face and tsk, tsk, tsked me.
I asked her about the looming Jihad invasion in her country with the million “Refugees”. She proudly told me she was proud of Germany taking them in but that the other European countries should do more to absorb their share of these “poor”, “unfortunate” people.
This shows you that the Germans and others are still like a deer looking into the headlights.
It will take more terror attacks for them to toss Merkel out on her ear.
Here goes the lying media again. We’re supposed to take their word for it that she’s the favourite in the upcoming elections? Is she the favourite much like Hillary was?
It seems like the guilt of the horrors of Nazism is far worse than what white guilt has done to this country.
They are completely unable to recognize that what they’re importing into their country out of guilt and compassion is far, far worse than what the rank and file Nazi was.
Merkel has been very insistant on Facebook and other social media cracking down on “hate speech” (i.e. telling truths that are suppressed by the state media) . With Trump’s win being largely attributable to his bring able to bypass the regular media, expect her to get more hysterical about the need to get Twitter and Facebook under control.
But she cannot control the content of conversations at the local Pension and Gast Haus. Local village hotels and pubs.
Did you ask her why can’t Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Oman, Turkmenistan, etc... can’t take them in?
They tried to annihilate the Jews and got the Muslims via the back (actually front) door...
