Even with those 3 added, it’s not a very long list.
Christians must . . . conscientiously object to hatred, division, racism, and sexism as unashamedly as we claim Christ.
Those terms, including "Christ" have been redefined. While, as a Christian, I'm opposed to 'hatred', opposing homosexuality because it is sinful is defined as 'hatred' by the Christian left. Critical biblical thinking is critically important today.
Been having this conversation alot lately for the last few years.
Sorry. I don’t believe a person can be a Christian and hard left. The hard left supports just about every sin found in the Bible and a few that are not. No Christian can repeatedly endorse gross immorality.
Catholic. Baptist. Doesn’t matter. If you cheer sin, there is something very wrong.
Sadly, you are correct.
Welcome to the American Church.
How often do they actually go to church?
I’ll figure something out.
Their primary goal seems to be the same one as the Communists and secular Leftists everywhere - produce Heaven on Earth through the efforts of mankind, and ignore the real Work of God.
They are pagans at best - or more realistically satanists.
You likely echo the immediate thought of every conservative reading this.
You'll find that leftist "Christians," if you catechize them even briefly, believe very few of the essential doctrines of Christianity, and NONE of the main ones - the unique deity of Christ as a member of the Godhead, His sinless life, His miraculous works, His resurrection from the dead to an eternal glorified life, His virgin birth, etc. Many so-called professors even doubt his actual existence and are content to play into the "myth" of Jesus. Some are even outright atheists altogether; the rest being practical atheists.
I'd more call them idolaters than pagans. They take the image of the things of God and construct idols in their own images, like the golden calf of newly-liberated Israel.
You need to get out more.
ARP ordains women deacons, but not as elders.
AARP?
Do they get good supplemental health insurance through medicare?
:>)
Association of Reformed Presbyterians???
Phoebe is the one exception to the rule, but it should be acknowledged.
I see it carried on in some of our more ancient churches....nuns, for example. Early Lutherans had something similar, iirc.
No, I don’t think I need to get out more. I think people need to be more discerning about being a Christian.
My thoughts exactly when I read the headline.
AARP? They get a great discount on British Airways!
Associate Reformed Presbyterian. Small denomination with churches primarily in the Southeast and Pakistan.
Ever hear of Erskine College and Seminary? ARP!
Projection is yuge in political circles. The GOP, whenever they are down, blame their party’s Christians and whites.
One would have to be unhinged to listen to the left and then say they are for equality and diversity. They hate normal men, Christians, Jews and whites.
They exist. Believe me.
the remaining maternal side of my family(of which I am the eldest, by five years) consists of 11 females, and two males, one still in school...except for my sister, who is largey apolitical, they are snarling left wing zealots, who tolerate me only because I am of their flesh...
any familial distribution so heavly skewed to females is going to be distinctly leftist; and the cultural obsession with female empowerment ensures a bleak future for our progeny...
I get it a lot when I argue with Catholics
I kinda thought the Catholic bashers would hop on this thread, and derail it to vent their venom...and right on cue...

Me thinks thou doth protest too much.
