....A male shopper at a Publix supermarket in Cape Coral, Fl. turned to his local FOX-TV affiliates Four in Your Corner after glimpsing a recent National Enquirer issue with President-elect Donald Trump on the cover. And in front of the shelf-stack of Enquirer issues, near the supermarket checkout area, a translucent white plastic shield similar to ones used to mute from younger passers-by the fronts of Cosmopolitan and mens magazines....
Heres the statement WFTX-TV reporter Lisa Greenberg got from Publix HQ:
The National Enquirer receives the most customer complaints about front page content, so they were added to the list of magazines required to be covered, just last week.
Liberals apparently complained about Trump being on the cover too much.
Illiberals did. If they were liberal, there would be no problem. They’re going under the most quintessentially false flag.
Huh. I was in a publix in Atlanta today and there was a piece of paper over one of the rags. The paper had the words “do not remove” printed on it.
It piqued my interest, but not enough to do anything about it.
Interestingly, I noticed two weeks ago that all the time magazines were placed with the back showing up front.
So now Publix shoppers cannot see pictures of alien goat babies?
Begone, Trump! (Or so they think.)
DANG!
Would that be the Man of the Year issue of Time, by any chance?
More winning! Are y’all getting tired yet? (”^)
How many times have Mooch been on the cover of magazines. More times than friggin Jennifer Anniston
Whenever there is a Globe or national enquirer cover that is pro trump or slams obama in the racks at the grocery checkout I take whole stack and distribute them in front of every magazine there. I like to call it the great wall of trump.
Hopefully some lib behind me has been peeved.
I anticipate it’s going to take a while for people to regain their courage. They’ve been beaten down by the bully illiberals (who call themselves liberal in a ghastly lie).
Let’s take some thought travel down a year or two and look back at this. No longer will the covers be hidden and we’ll be laughing at what ‘fraidy cats half of America had been.
Added by WHOM??
Well, that’s silly too. Let things evolve and watch. A lot of people will be buying out the Trump media. Let the great wall of illiberals sit there on the rack, visible.
They had anti-Clinton covers 3 out of 4 issues since at least Oct. and many times before that. Now, the Trump covers are really pushing the Liberals over the edge.
Illiberals. Actual classical liberals (a word that came into being a few centuries ago) would be laissez-faire about it.

*Would that be the Man of the Year issue of Time, by any chance?*
“Person” of the year. You sound just like a Republican troglodyte misogynist Trumper! HA!
You assume that they would have a ‘MAN’ of the year? Why not woman of the year, or Bruce Gender of the year? After 12 years in the Gulag, you will see the light - Rock on, TSR...
It ain’t trump on the cover that’s causing the censorship.
It’s the ongoing scandals of hildabeast, huma, weiner, obammy. & the xlintonistas that they don’t want exposed to the super market shoppers
The same censorship was taking place at our Publix and I promptly removed the plastic shield and placed it over another magazine with Oprah on the cover!

Good for you! I have shopped at Publix while on vacation and found their prices to be very high. They cater to the wealthy. If I had to shop there, I would complain about the censorship to the management and then find myself another store even if it was inconvenient. We are greater in number than the brain washed kooks are. We just need to speak up when tyrannical behavior shows it’s ugly face around us.
Good job! At a medical office waiting room the other day, I wrote on some pro-Hillary magazines "We Won!!!" on the covers, for other clients after I left. Not good for lib's blood pressure measurements, but what the heck.
We turned back over a copy of Time this morning at our grocery. Even the person ahead of us was laughing at the inanity of these losers.
