Very good info. I should have known that a state action can't recall a person elected to a federal office. All the more reason to repeal the Seventeenth Amendment, thereby returning the election of the U.S. Senate to the state legislatures, like the framers established the election of the U. S. Senate in Article 1, Section 3, Paragraph 1. This was to ensure the individual states had representation and power in the federal government.

Had it not been for the Seventeenth Amendment, ratified in 1913 when Woodrow Wilson was president, a state would have the power to recall a senator via the state legislature. Since the Seventeenth Amendment's ratification, the U.S. Senate is elected by the popular vote of the masses (far too many that have little or no understanding of political issues), exactly as the U. S. House is elected, the only difference, beside the terms of service, as you know, is that there are the 2 senators (as you know) elected from each state regardless of population, instead of representation by population in districts.

I know that even the state legislatures are flawed, but the officials I know here in (from purple to blue) now liberal Colorado are very politically savvy. But just as an example (and there are many more, I'm certain), no way could I believe that the Minnesota state legislature would ever elect a goofy imbecile such as Al Frankin. I can't possibly imagine that any state legislature, where most members are very politically savvy, electing a political idiot such as that.

Now let’s not leave out McTraitor’s equally crazy-ass warmonger puppet Linda Graham. Linda doesn’t open her mouth without getting McTraitor’s permission.

A Senator cannot be recalled. His colleagues in the Senate can vote to remove him. This is the only constitutional way of removing a Senator (or a Representative for that measure)

Senators have run their mouths idiotically for as long as the Republic has existed.

Says something about Arizonians that they keep re-electing this “forgot to take his meds” idiot.

Spending time in a Vietnamese prison camp and ratting out one’s peers to his captors, does not make a “war hero”.

California elects Dems cuz California is Mexico and they vote the ‘free sh*t”.

Who are the freakin morons who keep reelecting this lunatic? The guy is obviously mentally damaged, I’m sad for him if it was caused by his time as a POW, but someone like this should not be in a political office.)

...and crap like this is why I’ve hated McCain for as long as I’ve been posting here.

I can't stand the traitorous SOB, yet I voted for him in '08, of course it was really a vote for Palin.

Yes’ you’re right. Mac threw the ticket, (despised Palin... clearly), and “liked” Obama, anyway.

Establishment played the rubes and repeated it with Romney.

No Sale this time, with Yeb Boosch.

We hung together this time! Thanks be to God, and some blue collar Democrats.

Seriously, this man has lost his mind. It’s no longer just a figure of speech.

Yeah, and I was being serious. He seems to no longer seems to possess rational critical thinking abilities. Not that I gave him credit most of the time anyway, but now it is becoming a real liability.

The problem is he’s still got a vote, lost his mind or not. I am getting really worried about his and Linda’s capacity for making trouble for the Trump administration and for America, regardless of how nuts they both are.
