He (and his vice president) devoted several months of his presidency to electing Hillary, yet he failed to turn out the votes necessary to elect her. Methinks he overrates his own sense of self importance.

I actually hope he does take a very visible role in the public square. His popularity dives when he is visible, his only increase in popularity/job approval rating occurred when he disappears from the stage. The more visible and vocal he becomes, the worse wil be his position and influence. The louder he is, the clearer it will become that he is a nitwit.
