As I’ve observed over the years... “pets are a reflection of their owners.”
Pandering, this eighteen year old perhaps wanted to make a favorable impression in the Obama’s by playing up to their dog. The dog recognizing pandering for what it is worth, would have none of it.....what was her purpose for putting pictures of her unfortunate encounter with a strange (Sunny didn’t know her) on the social net.....Hummmmmm?
Wow. Kids?
If they start to pull it just turns their head toward you and they immediately stop. No more pulling and tugging. I love it. Worth every single penny. I can now walk my pup.

Yes. Exactly. I once had someone ask me “How long do Labs stay puppies?” The dog was only just two years old. She was a bit surprised when I told her “Not very soon.”
I also was amused when someone would tell me “I want to get a Jack Russel because we live in an apartment and they are small dogs.” I was told this more than once. I just smiled and nodded sagely.
Better build a racetrack on the walls for even an adult Jack Russell, lol.
Poor thing is probably demon possessed. It may need to be delivered in Jesus Name. And yes, I am serious.
very true. I’m sure Obama has no idea how to handle a dog, I’ve seen his dog leading him around in pictures. You won’t see me with any pictures of a dog leading me around. That said, I have always had a working type dog around, old line dobes years ago, working german shepherd lines, and now Malinois. I muzzle mine when around strangers, just because. Mine is quite social, but it isn’t worth the risk, even though mine is trained to bite when asked. As a general rule, dogs bite because they are fearful. A well-bred and confident Mal or Dutch shepherd will not bite from fear, if someone sticks their face too close, it is common for them to pop their teeth at them, letting them know they aren’t allowed, so get the heck back! Fear biters are the unpredictable ones.
When it is all said and done, it is the owner that is unqualified to handle a dog. Just look at a picture of Obama ‘leading’ a dog. Growing up on a ranch, I learned as a youngster that a horse knows when a fool has the reins.
You hit the ten ring. Great comments.
