800 turn out in King of Prussia to learn how to confront a Trump administration
Philly (D)com ^

A standing-room crowd of 800 packed the auditorium of Upper Merion Middle School on Wednesday night to listen to one speaker after another outline ways to mobilize against the man about to be inaugurated as president of the United States. Those who turned out for the gathering organized by Democratic State Sen. Daylin Leach of Montgomery County had come following two months of anger and frustration over Donald Trump's win in November.

They were told to form Facebook pages with like-minded friends and try to expand followers; consider putting their "bodies on the line" in acts of civil disobedience in the years to come; and, in the words of one Democratic political consultant, start to mirror the tactics...

First they were a concern - what might they actually be able to do? Then they became clowns stripping naked and promising to leave America. Now they are just boring anti-American scumbags that ought to go away.

This Leftist brand of “democracy” depends upon taxpayer cash and judicial activism. Stomp on both of those, and they will be relegated to the dust bin of history.

That is not 800 people. Middle school auditoriums are not particularly large even if it is a large school district. 500 tops.

Yeah- it’s like January of 2009 when we conservatives had meetings at so many public schools to formulate plans to do harm to the new Obama administration.. Oh, wait...

Freeped comments. Copy of exchange below. If he answers I’ll add it later.

Why any working class white man would vote for Trump is a mystery to me. You vote for someone who has worked against the working man his entire life, and who belongs to a party who has tried to destroy worker rights for six decades. You are voting against yourself.

You have apparently bought into the liberal-socialist-progressive-communist-Marxist (but, I repeat myself) complaint that business owners are exploiting those they employ. Trump has employed tens of thousands (maybe hundreds, who knows?) and created employment for many others in services supporting his businesses. The working man had the option to work for him or not, and chose to do so. And what has he done to destroy worker’s rights? What about the Democrat party, insisting on forced unionization (to fill their union leader cronies’ pockets) and a tax structure calculated to keep the productive a little bit needy?

I hope the left goes full tilt crazy over the next year. Their lunatic behavior is guaranteed to flip some blue states to solid red.

Keep it up, lefties. You’re only destroying yourselves.

I was going to say that it looks more like 400 max to me. All these cry babies should show a little class and wait til president Trump actually does something they dislike before they try to condemn him. Too bad they have no class, dignity or morals.

I hope people raise a stick over how they get to use a public school facility for political activity?

Trump is an unconventional person, works in an unconventional manner. The old radical tricks aren't gonna work with him.

It will be interesting to watch.
