(CNSNews.com) - Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, said Friday at the March for Life that the right to life is a God-given right – not a privilege or a choice.
“It is no coincidence that the first rights stated in the Declaration of Independence is the right to life. It is a right. It is not a privilege. It is not a choice. It is God-given. It is unique, and it is beautiful,” Conway said.
Conway, who is pro-life, told attendees at march that the White House hears them and looks forward to working with them.
“So to the March for Life 2017, allow me to make it very clear: We hear you. We see you. We respect you, and we look forward to working with you. And yes, we walk. We march. We run, and we endeavor forward with you.”
“Yes, I am pro-life. It is such an honor to stand with the vice president of the United States and with so many leaders, families and students from places near and far to defend the unborn. Your courage. Your conviction, your resolve, and your faith are impressive and consequential. This is a new day, a new dawn for life,” Conway said.
“Why are we here? What does it mean to stand together, to be part of this incredible movement, to face criticism, ridicule, laws and lawmakers that diminish and erode our most basic right and the bedrock of our society? It means to protect and to promote the most precious gift in the world – the gift of life,” she said, adding that it also means to stand up and stand together “against the indifference and the indefensible” on behalf of babies in the womb.
“This dismissive notion of out of sight, out of mind is over,” Conway said, adding that science and medicine have joined religion “in causing many Americans to rethink just how fragile and how triumphant human life truly is.”
“Look at a sonogram. Meet a thriving toddler who was born at 24 weeks, and who with proper medical intervention goes on to have a long and healthy life. Speak to the many women who have faced challenges becoming and remaining pregnant and then welcomed a miracle. Talk to the couples who are now parents because adoption, not abortion was the best choice,” she said.
“Every day is a fight for life. Yet today is also a celebration of life. It is a time to lift your voice and lift your spirits,” Conway said.
“Steps away from here in the White House, a president and a vice president sit at their desks and make decisions for the nation. As they sit there, they stand here with you. Their impassioned defenses of life as presidential candidates showed a nation that courage and commitment can overcome indifference and insults, and their decisive action as president and vice president will further this conversation and this cause,” she said.
“This is a time of incredible promise for the pro-life, pro-adoption movement.,” Conway said.
Women with unplanned pregnancies “should know they are not alone,” she said. “They are not judged. They too are protected and cared for and celebrated.”
Amen.
Catholic ping!
Yesss! Finally we have a voice.
This is very rapidly becoming the most sincerely pro-life administration ever. EVER.
The abortionists do not believe in God. Their god is the state.
I heard part of her speech. She is definitely NOT a Nancy Pelosi Catholic.
wow.
Just wow.
Interrupting the Creator's process for fashioning his "creations" is like entering the master potter's studio and smashing the teacup or great vessel his hand is fashioning from the clay, thereby "destroying" the ultimate purpose envisioned and enabled by the potter's mind and hand.
"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."- Thomas Jefferson
How many beautiful minds, great talents, healing hands, inventive geniuses, and future solvers of problems were destroyed by those who have appointed themselves the "judges" of who will be allowed to pursue liberty and personal happiness?
Reference here for an account (excerpt below) of one of those great talents whose story is inspiring:
In the January 16, 2001 issue of London celebrity magazine Hello!, with a preview in the January 11 National Post, Dion said: "My mother had already brought up 13 children. For more than 20 years, she'd been locked into a hellish cycle of washing, ironing and housework, 365 days a year. She thought, rightly, that she'd done her duty. The two little ones, twins Paul and Pauline, were about to go to school and at last she'd have some time to herself. At last she'd be able to go out, perhaps go travelling with my father and revisit the area where they were both brought up. Then suddenly she was pregnant again. She was so shattered she went to see the parish priest to see if she could do something about it."Once she got over her disappointment that an abortion was out of the question, added Dion, she loved me as passionately as she'd loved the last little ones."
The “universal trend” (or truth) is that life exists and seeks to preserve and increase life. Any belief, philosophy or action to the contrary is evil.
And to the communist abortionists, we are soulless pieces of meat, to be disposed of as the state sees fit.

Great video.
I watched VP Pence earlier, and thought that no VP EVER could have delivered an address like that in a venue like that...
Then Kellyanne gave an outstanding address as only a God Loving, Patriotic American (charming) Woman could...
What a week for America! Trump/Pence = MAGA!
Praise be to God for true representation for the unborn not just lip service.
Lord, may Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven!
Wondering if there were any Muslim groups at today’s march?
It's like someone has lifted a huge boulder off our shoulders. For decades, the pro-life voices were shouted down and ignored by the msm. But these patriots never gave up.
Are you tired of winning yet? :-)
Thank you for sharing that poignant story.
I wasn't there, this year. Work.
In past years, I have seen every flavor of Christian represented. Catholics mostly, but not exclusively. I have seen Jews. I have seen Buddhists. I have seen Hindus. I have seen atheists. I have seen feminists. I saw "Communists for Life" once. (He may have been a joke.)
I have NEVER seen mohammedans openly represented at the March for Life. Not one, not ever.
Catholics were always the firmest and most clear, even in the 1960s—on Natural Law Theory which is embedded into Catholic Theology. It is a shame that the current pope is trying to water-down and blur the truth (faith), as all popes after VII have done to erase Traditions and the Catholic school curricula of clarity and truth, (Classical curricula) which is so unCatholic and evil.
The unalienable Natural Rights to life, as all other Natural Rights, all come from God. That is not only embedded into Catholic theology, but in Lockean philosophy, and therefore, into our Constitution. The State can not take any innocent life, ever, nor, can anyone give their Natural Rights away. Euthanasia, abortion and sodomy all have to be outlawed because they are antithetical to the Constitution and Natural Law. They promote satanism, an irrational, nihilistic religion and the rites of Ba’al worship.
I have always loved the logic of Conway since I first saw her on TV years ago. Probably because I was brought up in the Catholic school system before it was completely devoid of Classical curricula (Reason and Logic).
What hope Trump and his people have brought to our nation! Who could have seen, a year ago, that one week after the inauguration, a pro-life VP and a pro-life Presidential advisor would be speaking at the March. Simply amazing what God has done this past year. Stunning.
Did you also catch Congresswoman Mia Love’s speech? Amazing!
