The meeting with small business folks and regs cutting is great and will hopefully change the subject from the FakeNews Trump has a ban on Muslims.
Varney was saying earlier that the reason the stock market was dropping wasn’t because of what Trump had done/was doing (though he indicated the EO on the travel ban could have been better communicated initially) it was because there is word going around that the tax cuts won’t happen until 2018. Word was that congress wouldn’t do them until August of 2017 and some thought that was too late. I suspect that Trump will take a cattle prod to the congress critters and get them to move on the tax cuts/reforms. I understand that tax cut reforms and issues are very complicated, but they should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time - there are many committees and sub-committees in congress to get the ball rolling on tax reforms IMO.
