The Democrats these days bring to mind the tactics of the Japanese at the end of WW2. Banzai charges and kamikaze attacks are all they have right now.

And now they’re making the comparison complete by provoking a nuclear option.

Hope they enjoy the scorched earth.

My dad and some other Marines saw a Kamikaze land on the road in Okinawa and got him out. He wasn’t a willing participant. LOL

Mitch McConnell? That jackass is afraid of his own shadow. Bet he does not go for the nuke option.

Can you imagine if guys like Chuckie were in charge when we were fighting in WWII?

That’s when men were men———all of them.

“There is little chance this will occur even if it represents a smarter strategy because they have no discipline. They cannot help themselves.”

I would not doubt that this is exactly what happens. Especially when they here from the rank and file.

I hope this comes to pass. Trump is up late firing traitors. If they won’t enforce the law and congress won’t approve his nominees in a timely fashion he just showed he’s more than willing to take matters into his own hands.

God, it’s so nice having an adult in charge. 29 years is a long time.

Bump to you Leni. Smartest move for the RATS would be to vigorously check Trump’s nominee and save their powder for the next fight which will swing the court.

Perfect storm:
Trump puts a Originalist on the bench.
Justice Kennedy retires.
Trump puts another Originalist on the bench.
Ginsburg retires out of frustration at all the 5-4s.
Trump puts another Originalist on the bench.
Trump is reelected to a second term.
Breyer retires out of frustration at all the 6-3s.
Trump puts another Originalist on the bench.

Oh I forgot::: Democrats heads explode!!!!!

No, I cannot imagine that at all.

Trump is really striking me as a General Patton type of individual.

He is on a completely different level than anyone I have ever seen in my life.

Your sports analogy reminds me that Trump could use the New England Patriots philosophy to winning. It also occurs to me now that the President’s hairstyle is vaguely reminiscent of those same Patriots “Flying Elvis’s” logo. He is already using “smash-mouth” tactics. Hit the opponent so hard that they become fearful of carrying the ball.

Republicans won’t even change the rules to Li!It endless debates about Trump’s cabinet picks. They won’t use the nuclear option. They r just as likely to change to 65 votes

Hoping this doesn’t mean that Trump’s selection is a closet Dem operative judge. Whoever Trump picks had better be even more of a constitutionalist than Scalia.

IF the Dems are backing off, Trumps people need to know why. This guy better not be the next fake Conservative. Even Roberts was a disappointment. The next Judge should be Ted Cruz. End of story. If not Cruz, the person better be a true constitutionalist. The Dems backing off fighting the nominee is suspicious.

All three have been vetted and confirmed previously....and they will look like idiots if they refuse to confirm. They'll do a straight up and down and then they can all vote party line...which will look really stupid....so...

MANY Dems will flip and confirm.

Mitch McConnell? That jackass is afraid of his own shadow.

JMHO, McConnell's got something in town now that scares him a **** of a lot more than his shadow. Or most anything else.

Big old dude named Donald....

Again JMHO, after this weekend's Fun & Games and the Obama Holdovers getting fired during primetime tonight, there should be a few folks call themselves Republicans and other miscellaneous types inside The Beltway who are going to have an old time Come to Jesus moment. (That or get their butts outta Dodge before the SHTF.)

...just like training mules: Whack 'em smartly between the ears with an axe handle to get their attention and you can train 'em to do most anything.

Schumer has a real problem...if he pushes the GOP, he gets a nuclear response and a conservative judge and a 5-4 court. Then he will have to check old Ruth’s blood pressure every 5 minutes, because the next one will be a conservative judge and a 6-3 court. Now he’s fighting for the court for the next 10-15 years.

From there it might only get worse....Stephen Breyer will have to live to be 85 because if Trump wins re-election, he turns the court to 7-2.

Rats are resisting even most cabinet appointees. I expect all sorts of parliamentary jujitsu for the first nomination by pouts Trump. Hope I am wrong, but not holding my breath.
