Mitch McConnell? That jackass is afraid of his own shadow. Bet he does not go for the nuke option.

He should be very afraid....if he doesn't.

Makes you wonder if any of those yahoos ever watched a single episode of The Apprentice - do they think it was just a phony TV show? That was an instructive window into how Trump operates - if you're working for him you do what you are supposed to do and do it well or else. It's his way or the highway. Better believe it.

They know they’re hanging by a thread. They know that more of these delay tactics, etc will be remembered leading up the to ‘18 elections and at that time, they stand a chance of being completely rendered useless. It won’t take much. Of course, it could all go down the drain, we all know that. But....

With all these protests continuing. BLM advocate calling for killing white people. Taking their property. Protesters still blocking roads. Now we have white folks, trying to become the DNC chair, talking about how they’ll shut up white people. Every time they do this, I feel like there’s a handful of independent voters out there, that just took one, big, giant step over to the right. People are sick of it. All of it.

They’re sick of these petulant college kids. They’re sick of these out of touch and idiotic politicians. They’re sick of having their tax dollars stolen from them, so some 3rd world savage from the middle east or mexico can come here and ride the refugee, welfare wave.

I have one word on this subject.

Ginsberg

I see her being wheeled around in an iron lung/cryo cell type device until age 173.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

The Dems might not have the votes. There are lots of vulnerable Dem senators facing reelection in states Trump won, and there could be lots of Dem defections. This might be a face saving measure for the party knowing they are going to lose anyway.

“The next Judge should be Ted Cruz. End of story. If not Cruz, the person better be a true constitutionalist.”

No way in Hell! Cruze is a “me firstist,” not a constitutionalist! He needs to be not closer to even being a Senator than a towel man in the Senate Men’s room! He’d sell out the country if it suited his purposes.

I am afraid that they suspect who the nominee will be and are OK with him. Hardiman went to Notre Dame and might wind up being a Kennedy Catholic. I hope, hope, hope I’m wrong!

The Supreme Court vacancy was a good part of what convinced some people to vote for Trump who weren’t exactly in love with him. He knows that. I would be VERY SURPRISED if his nominee turns out to be a Justice Souter squish, wouldn’t you?

“The SECOND Trump nomination WILL obviously re-shape the court...and this GOP nominee will get the Bork treatment by the liberal axe-wielding inquisitioners like we’ve never seen before!”

Exactly right.

Democrats privately discussed their tactics during a closed-door retreat in West Virginia last week.

Yet, the Repubs have their meeting leaked.

Nah. Trump will start a Tweetstorm attack on her, and she won't last a week

i had to laugh...the ex mayor of Philly...guy named “NUTTER”.... he actually wrote an op-ed stating that he knew what Trump was up to...that he’s using a “MIND CONTROL TACTIC” on everybody...im dead serious. David Brooks said the same thing...this all so much fun.

>>>It’s fake news from CNN. None of the article is true.<<<

The real reason is they don’t have the votes to filibuster. There are enough dems from red states that will support the nominee.

Trump should have some hard hitting ads made up against the vulnerable dem senators and vow to run them continuously from now till the 2018 elections.

He can afford to and they know it :-)

If another leftist dem becomes president then I predict they will pack the court...or conservative judges will start dying of suspicious causes.

After th 2018 mid-terms, all of this won’t matter if the Republicans can take eight of the 23 Senate Democrat seats up for re-election. As of now, only 12 are considered safe.
