the Senate needs to bein recess or 10 days. How would we tell the difference if they left?

Snarky comment on my part, but I guess Mitch can make it happen when he wants to.

Time for turtlehead McConnell to end this and put the whole cabinet up for a vote in front of the entire senate.
Why continue to give the Dems a voice in sub committee hearings when they just repeat their talking points.

Does anyone think that Trump will take advantage of his SC announcement tonight to address this issue since he has a large audience?
To: Dave W
Under Special Orders the nominees can be brought to the Senate floor without committee vote. It takes 60 to be able to use this procedure, and it would fail, but it would put the Dems on notice that the rules only work for them for so long.....
And who knows....the pressure on some for re-election may cause them to break with the party to vote to go ahead.
That would put pressure on the missing Dems to do their jobs.

adjourn the senate at a prescribed time, for one hour, and he can do them all with recess appointments. Why wait for that? The Indonesian has already set precedent for non recess appointments!

So what Rinos voted against her?
To: Enlightened1
Very appropriate. I was gonna say this is nothing more than a temper tantrum from the party who lost, who just 8 years was saying, “hey, we won, get over it.” Now that the shoe is on the other foot, they can’t stand it. Typical hypocrites.

Since the Dems are “vetting” Cabinet nominees to a degree far greater than foreign national from known terrorist states, one can only conclude that they would be far more comfortable with a cabinet fully of terrorist!

This acting out and these temper tantrums will only have a huge negative reaction from those who quickly defected from Trump after the release of the tape. (The reason New Hampshire was lost according to this new book)
That news cycle is ancient history. Now let’s see if the “center-Right” rethinks DJT in light of these shenanigans.

I had to call his local Lexington Office to get any answer at all!!
In Louisville, Dem protesters are claiming he took the phone off the hook because believe me, THEY ARE CALLING HIM!!
How do we get our comments through??

” McConnell has options if he will only use them.”
McConnell has been AWOL for 8 years, and today I see little difference.
