History repeats. Many people will remember what happened in Wisconsin in 2011 when control of the state legislature flipped from Democrat control to Republican control and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker began initiating a series of state budget reforms.

Deploy the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms (or his equivalent), and US Marshals if necessary, and forcibly drag in the low-lifes.
They don’t have to vote, they just have to be there to provide a quorum.
Hopefully they’re fleeing the country and going to ones that Trump has shut down any immigration from. They can stay there.
I had been thinking the same thing as was going to try and do some research this afternoon. Is such a technique possible - who could be used? What is the tech term of a ‘quorum’ under ‘their’ rules, since they often defy common sense?
Set up some blow-up Dolls in their seats, grant them citizenship and call them DemocRATS and move on.
The Constitution requires a majority of senators (51) for a quorum.

It’s the “hold my breath until I turn blue” tantrum strategy. Such children! They’re called leaders; but I see only sore losers.
The antidote to this, I think, is to set a timer; and if the dems aren’t there to vote when it dings, go on without them, and do the same for everything else the Congress is supposed to do.
MO is swinging to the right by every measure, and the two big cities are factoring less and less in state numbers. Claire Mac will have lots of spare time coming up.

I’ve blocked out so much of 2011 politics; it was really, REALLY awful in our state, but that always cracked me up!
Gotta remind everyone that THAT stunt started changing hearts and minds. And Governor Walker was Recalled - AND WON! And ran for a second term - AND WON!
And Wisconsin went RED for President Trump! :)
Democrats? My advice to YOU is to keep pulling these juvenile stunts. We The People ARE watching! ;)
Perhaps McConnell can temproarily appoint enough Repub members to have a quorum.
