But, I do have a question for the Free Republic world.
With regards to the laws/regulations regarding refugees:
1. They get every benefit we offer if they qualify?
2. Aren’t they supposed to be here “temporarily”, until the situation in their home of record gets straightened out?
3. If their country is so dangerous and volatile, shouldn’t they be prohibited from returning to said country, using the welfare benefits they receive, to pay for the travel.
4. Isn’t there some way for the government services to cross reference addresses to ensure that a muslim man, with multiple wives and kids, isn’t receiving benefits from 4 different sources? Thus enabling him to live a $400k home and drive a luxury SUV.
Couple years ago I was wondering if there was a legal way to immigrate to Australia,they have very strict requirements of essential skills they need, if you don’t have skills you basically don’t get in. But their list of specific skills they want is limited, you could have all sorts of degrees of something special but if they don’t need it the door is closed.
If they came as refugees, wasn’t this pretty much the plan?
If we’re talking about others who came here and aren’t carrying their own weight, seems reasoned to me. Send them back where they came from and let their homelands support them.
