Manchin has voted for the rest of Trump's appointments and has made it clear he doesn't plan to filibuster Gorsuch. I highly doubt that voting against DeVos, as bad as she was during the hearings, will cost him anything.
We have a very strong, devout base of conservatives here in Alaska, with just a few corrupt GOP party leaders and Dems who cross over almost exclusively for Princess Murkowski.
It’s getting very boring to watch Collins pull her “independant” act to pander to Maine voters. She does this every cycle, always to the detriment of a perfectly fine nominee.
She pretends to be above politics, where in fact, she plays it to it’s most naked form. I really can’t stand her and her “holier than thou” act.

Perhaps the Trump liaison to the Senate neglected to allow Collins and Murkowski to see their newly created “intelligence community dossiers”.
Alaska has a corrupt liberal Republican party just like the state of Tennessee and Mississippi. They behind the scenes undermine conservatives and will go public if they have to in order to stop conservatism. The Republican party corruption just isn’t confined to Washington DC.
With Trump having controlled half of the vote in Maine,may be this vote will help to finally begin the close of Collins’ worthless career.
