Senate Republican Leader McConnell Distances Himself From Trump Stances
Wall Street Urinal ^

Asked about Mr. Trump’s recent reference to the “so-called judge’’ that ruled against the president’s executive order on immigration and refugees, Mr. McConnell again distanced himself from the White House. “I think it’s best not to single out judges for criticism. We all get disappointed from time to time … but I think it’s best to avoid criticizing judges individually,’’ he said.

Mr. McConnell also poured cold water on the pledge by Mr. Trump to launch a national investigation of voter fraud. The president has claimed, without evidence, that millions of people voted fraudulently in the presidential election. If there’s going to be a probe of possible voter fraud, Mr. McConnell said, that should be handled by the states. “I don’t think we ought to spend any federal money investigating that,’’ he said. “We ought to leave that at the state level.’’

They could have ditched Mitch in the primary and we could have Sen. Matt Bevin.

Failing that, Alison Grimes was the lesser evil.

This after Trump appointed McConnell’s wife to Cabinet.

It seems Trump has let some of them in on his tactics. He likes to play the bad cop - that’s why he said even though HE believes in waterboarding, he was letting the DoD overrule him. He’s having long phone calls with Pena-Nieto and then being bad cop so the mex pres can bark back and look tough. He sets this stuff up. Everything is negotiable.

if they help the media and liberal hysterics, defeat Trump, the republican party will probably be finished.

The Country too!

“Sen. Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) on Sunday was pressed on CNN..”

That pretty much says it right there.

What was McConnell doing on CNN? Creating #FAKENEWS?

I didn't see the interview ... but I'll take this article at face value.

McConnell is either cunningly stupid or totally craven. Heck, maybe he's a combination of both!

President Trump appointment his wife to his Cabinet, for crying out loud. Mitch had to realize that was more than an Olive branch.

McConnel owes the president more than loyalty. He owes him courage! Total backing, if you will. The Stupid Party has their Majorities solely because Trump won the presidency!

This is the Uniparty moving to constrain and ultimately stop Trump from rocking their very lucrative boat. McConnell, Ryan and many more want the open borders gravy train to roll on. These people are loyal to their transnational contributors (bribers), rather than the USA. If some American blood has to be shed, that is merely lubrication for the gears of their machine.

Trump has six months, maybe less, to decide whether or not to dispense with the GOP and run Trumpians in the 2018 elections.

That is, if Congress doesn’t remove him first.

Anyone in leadership having anything to do with CNN is a traitor. Treason. Prison.

A FReeper saw DJT say a month ago that there were senators that had acted to outsource and offshore jobs, and ‘he wouldn’t want to be them’ once Jeff sinks his fangs in them. So it’s gonna happen.... we just have to wait.

No time to wait for the next election.

This isn’t going to be solved electorally anyway.

The enemy within and that includes scumbags like McConnell have to be strong armed and threatened into supporting Trumps agenda (which is the peoples agenda).

You use angry mobs supported by government backed paramilitary groups loyal to the Executive to accomplish that task.

The US communists and anarchists have allied with Mozlum terrorists, the enemedia and the blacks to destroy the right wing and normal Americans.

If Trump isn’t willing to take the steps necessary to fight them and win he shouldn’t have bothered running.

There is a playbook, it was used by Pinochet and it works.

Until these scumbags start to fear for their personal safety they will continue their subversion and attacks.

He’s neither one. Basically, he is just there for the power and to keep both hands in the pie. I have to live in his state. He runs as a reasonable conservative every time and then works with the Rats. ‘Aint nothing going to happen to Obamacare; McConnell worked with our Republican Congressman Hal Rogers (who is also the chairman of the Appropriations Committee!) to deliver 1500+ Obamacare related jobs to this part of SE KY. We also have a State Department Office here, or Green Card Factory, if you please.

Both Rogers and McConnell usually win by very handy margins. The former is serving his 18th term, and it’s been pork all the way. Both of them are heavily controlled by corporate interests. After our Gov. Matt Bevin lost the primary to McConnell, I voted for Allison Lundregon Grimes, a s—t eating liberal, because she was the lesser of two evils!
