Dear Representative Jason Chaffetz: Its been reported that you have called for the Office of Government Ethics to review Kellyanne Conway's endorsement of Ivanka Trump's brand. Her ethics violation is deminimus and she wont offend again, obviously. Your overreaction is far more offensive than her faux pas. You are aware that virtually all of the Democrat party is indulging itself in an irrational hatred of all things Trump. Your reaction to Kellyannes mistake serves to validate their hatred and encourage it. SO DONT.
My guess, and it's only a guess, is that by having deVos confirmed first, the Dems would already have to have spent some of their political capital (i.e., vitriol) on her, making it less likely for them to dump the whole load on Sessions. A few days isn't going to make a difference in the long run.
State Dept. buys $70K of Obama books
Paul Ryan is taking bribes from Soros?
He is a RINO!!!! He did nothing to hillary— ZERO!! after Benghazi. Get him out of here!! I LOVE Kellyanne and she did absolutely nothing wrong!!
WND EXCLUSIVE
12 TOP REPUBLICANS BACKED BY SOROS IN 2016
Everyone knows about millions to Hillary, but here are GOP names George likes
WASHINGTON Everyone knows about the tens of millions of dollars various George Soros front groups poured into Hillary Clintons failed presidential efforts in 2016, but the Republicans he supported from Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan and his predecessor, John Boehner, have received less attention.
Republican presidential candidate John Kasich was also a big recipient of Soros largesse to the tune at least $202,700. That makes Soros one of the Kasich presidential campaigns top funders.
While the Soros Fund Management, just one of the Hungarian billionaires political tentacles, spent $224,300 on Democratic Party congressional campaigns in 2016, it also spent $31,400 on Republicans, including $10,800 on Ryan the most of any member of the GOP, the same as it invested in Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, a Democrat.
Other GOP congressional recipients of Soros contributions include Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., ($2,500); Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. ($2,700); Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev. ($2,700); ($2,700); Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio ($2,600); Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif. ($2,500); Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla. ($1,000); Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa ($1,000); Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis. ($1,000); Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash. ($1,000); and Rep. Dan Donovan, R-N.Y. ($300).

Those people were NOT his constituents, but hired protesting hacks. Chaffetz must feel threatened b/c he’s too stupid to realize no one gives a flying flip about Kellyanne’s honest mistake.
Jason Chaffetz is not on our side, he’s a Mormon and he is dead to me.
Reminds me of the joke....”It must be real embarrassing to have such a boob for a brother, but somehow, Billy puts up with it.”
The republican swamp needs draining too.

They needed Sessions vote as a sitting Senator in order to get Sec DeVos confirmed. If you recall, Vice President Pence had to be called in as the tie-breaking vote in the Senate to obtain the confirmation.

Might just be theatrics so the GOP can later say they were as hard on one of their own as they are on the demrats.
This guy is like Newt. Most of the time he’s great, but every so often he goes off the rails. You can’t trust this guy.
