At least from a secular point of view, which isn’t honest to where my soul is. But even secular songs that have a literally ungodly side have some sort of point. People don’t pursue the ungodly without an accompanying belief that the godly has somehow failed them or is permanently out of reach. That pessimistic conclusion on their part is false, but our task is to attempt to show them why and how the opposite is true. Point to the false god that has been exalted by whatever means and explain how it has to fail, and then point to the true One.
