The manager of the ironically named "I Don't Care" Bar and Grill in Catoosa, Oklahoma is hiring ...
Needing experienced kitchen staff. Line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers apply now!
After firing 12 staff last week for violating his "no call/no show" policy.
Fox Baltimore reports that the workers are without a job after getting fired for skipping work as a show of support for "A Day Without Immigrants."
The restaurant workers are all Hispanic and say it was important to them to participate in the national protest.
But they didn't think it would cost them their jobs.
"They feel like they've been unfairly terminated," said a friend, translating for the employees.
The owner fired them by text message.
A message to one of the employees reads: "You and your family are fired. I hope you enjoyed your day off, and you can enjoy many more. Love you.'
The group willingly chose to stay home with others across the country, supporting "A Day Without Immigrants."
"(Theyre) upset they stood for something they felt was necessary so the community would stand together, and they got terminated for that," said the friend.
Restaurant owner Bill McNally gave us a written statement, saying he has a "zero tolerance policy for no show/no call incidents and the 12 employees violated that policy."
Maybe they assumed they would get unemployment.
When they found out no...then they realized how “unfair” it was.
Alegría maliciosa
Remember how many people were fired for not showing up at work on “A Day Without Citizens Day”?
I can’t seem to recall the number.
The upside for this restaurant is that there was no cook staff there to spit it the gringos' food.
Maybe the owner will be more careful when he's hiring replacements and not make the same mistakes again.

How to get rid of roaches? My chickens don’t allow any insect within 100 yards of the house... apparently they’re delicious.. The same approach , making illegals valuable in the form of a bounty for information on employers would be appropriate.
A few years ago a meatpacking plant in Iowa was raided by INS and so many were detained they had to shut down. They then advertised for American workers and had the place fully staffed and running in a week or so. Of course they had to pay higher wages.
Ain’t it so!
The unfairness to be illegals ar the smugglers, immigration attorneys, democratic politicians and the charities that give them false hope. The fault, dear Illegals, is not in our Stars and Stripes.

Blah - doesn’t not does
Why would you wish that on the poor guy? Prayers for him.

Read the post above yours.
Funny that as I read it, all they had to do is call in and say they wanted the day off and all would have been good.
OOPS!
Me alegro por tu sufrimiento: I am happy for your suffering.
