On the west side of Orlando, Florida, a road was named after Obama during his first term. I figured it was the doing of Buddy Dyer, a very liberal mayor who was in charge when I moved away.
But knowing the background of Rino Rauner, I bet that he would welcome the idea.

The Chicago Department of Transportation doesn’t know what happened to the honorary “Trump Plaza” street signs that were taken down by city workers in December, the Chicago Tribune reports.
“I don’t know what happened to them,” transportation spokesman Michael Claffey told the Tribune in an email.
Claffey reportedly didn’t know what the city had planned for the signs, or whether they had already been destroyed.
The Chicago City Council voted in November to remove street signs honoring President Donald Trump’s riverfront hotel and condominium tower as a response to the Republican’s incendiary rhetoric and comments about the city’s violence.
The measure claimed Trump was running a “hateful, racist campaign against immigrants and minorities” and that the president had a “complete disregard for civil liberties dating back to the 1970s,” according to the report.
In October, Mayor Rahm Emanuel supported the move, but pushed for a more direct response to Trump’s candidacy.

It’s nice that the legislature has everything squared away as far as running the state is concerned, so it has free time for stuff such as this.
Any one-way street will suffice.

I-355 is the Veterans Memorial Expressway. They didn’t name a road after Blagojevich, but they did have his name on big signs over every toll plaza on the tollway. They came down after Blagojevich went away and, to Pat Quinn’s and Bruce Rauner’s credit, they have not put up their own names.

Yes, I hope and pray that it is 294 for all your reasons and that 55 runs down thru red county Illinois and it will not be popular there. Besides, the only time he was south of 80 was when he was going to Springfield. He didn’t like us and we don’t like him. The sign would look like the stop signs in some areas, ventilated.
