It will harder for dems to demagogue this speech. For one thing we spoke softly but strongly and no longer sounded like he was running for office. He also was not confrontational and acted like he was willing to deal with dems. Not ideal from a conservative standpoint but a president is not a dictator and has to negotiate.
I agree...as long as he deals with *democrats* and not socialists/communists/un-Americans.

Exactly. Also, I do trust that he isn’t out to get us, so that if there is a deal made, it really probably be there very best one that could be made, and would be a step (or steps) in the right direction.
