To Miami-Dade judge: harboring, sheltering, and aiding known illegal aliens is a FEDERAL FELONY, from which you are NOT immune. That means that every single illegal you let walk just adds to your prison sentence.

The answer to this problem = ICE gets a warrant to hold illegals in jail until ICE arrives.

Here is the solution: ICE creates a special hotline only accessible to law enforcement officers. If a police officer knows an illegal criminal is being held in his city’s jail, he calls, reports it to ICE, and gets a $500 reward upon deportation. This would be particularly useful if ICE knows exactly when the person is going to be released so they go to the jail and pick him up when he leaves the building.
Tell me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the Federal Government reimburse the county jails holding these illegals for their living expenses while in custody? In NY State, the State reimburses county jails for convicts who have been sentenced, but not yet transferred to a State prison. Same difference?
