In the past two years a new challenge has risen on the northern front. Should Israel go to war with Hezbollah, the Lebanese Army would fight on the Shi'ite terror organization's side, Maariv, the sister publication of The Jerusalem Post quoted Israeli security officials as saying on Friday.
According to the officials, unlike Israel's 2006 war with Hezbollah in Lebanon, a future war would feature the Lebanese Armed Forces on Hezbollah's side.
Since the second Lebanese war, the Lebanese army has rearmed itself, strengthening its ability in the air as well as on the ground and sea, with the help of the United States, France and Saudi Arabia.
The army had originally rearmed itself in order to deal with internal terror, however they also strengthened their ability to fight an army such as the IDF.

Prayers for Israel!
Lebanon used to be 80% Christian.
Two enemies destroyed for the price of one, it’s a regular BOGO event.
Hezbollah is bucking for a war; imo, most Lebanese don’t like the sabre rattling of the Shiites. This too, is probably nothing but largely sabre rattling, big talk, little action.
Not likely. Lebanese Army involvement would make it a state versus state war, which would end in Israel occupying Lebanese territory indefinitely and a powerless Lebanese government.
Of course they will, bless their little (soon to be dead) hearts.

Lebanon was conquered by Islam decades ago.

According to our former flop-eared Moron in Chief, all modern, sensitive and progressive armies have Gay and Lebanese troops today.

They couldn't have bombed it without some help from Syria and Daddy Assad, folks should remember that. Just the way that the US/Coalition forces in Iraq had to battle forces helped by Assad Jr. and Iran. I remember that horrific bombing.
The beauty of both armies being in it together is that Israel can literally destroy everything and conquer the entire nation, occupy and be done. Heck, they could build settlements if they choose.
Then they will die alongside Hezbollah in a war against Israel.
