What I like best in that graphic is the bylines in the first Times captures. Michael S. Schmidt, both times. They don't even try to hide it anymore. "Oh, did I say there was illegal recording? That statement is now...inoperative." We've come full circle: the media have become Nixon and the President is becoming the media.

Love these NYT visuals. People get them. The split-hair rationale of the NYT after the SHTF, not so much. Keep it coming. Like winning, I never get tired of seeing this one.
