Nicola Sturgeon has warned "Scotland's referendum must be made in Scotland" as her row with Theresa May over a second independence vote escalates.

The First Minister, speaking after a cabinet meeting, said: "There should be no strings attached, no blocking mechanisms applied and no Downing Street diktat."

Over 100,000 Scots have signed a petition demanding a new indyref be blocked and it has crossed the threshold for Parliamentary debate. She has no mandate and no right to insist on yet another disruptive, destabilising indyref so soon after the last one, especially when the UK Government is already having to focus it’s attention on Brexit.

I posted earlier, I think it’s customary to wait a generation between plebiscites like this. Otherwise opposition will find a reason to drag it up every year.

Should be under no uncertain terms, 20 years between plebiscites.

If you are British you can sign the petition here. I already have and at time of posting it had 106,856 signatures.

Another Scottish independence referendum should not be allowed to happen

Given the number of welfare parasites in Scotland, it’s the UK that should be having a referendum to kick Scotland out and let them all starve. Hadrian’s Wall is still there, it just needs a bit of sprucing up and a coat of paint.

Sturgeon has adopted Arafat style tactics...a nihilist with no real leadership skills making emotional appeals against a big bad ‘enemy’ when the enemy is responsible for up to 70% of Scotland’s economy (read: welfare/bureuacratic state).

She is also like Arafat in that ahe is a tool of the globalists who are still trying to overturn or subvert Brexit even as it gains momentum and form.

If you analyze the last ballot and results....along the southern third of Scotland...it was 65-to-70 percent ‘NO’ on the exit of UK measure.

My general gut feeling is that if this comes up and passes over the bulk of Scotland...that this bottom third area (what I would call Caledonia)...will vote heavily against the measure, and almost immediately upon Scotland announcing their exit...this southern third area will ask for their ballot and ask to leave Scotland, and form up as Caledonia. They would then ask to be part of the UK.

All of this would quickly degenerate, with London asking for it’s own ballot measure and the EU in some massive fear that you could see various sections of the 28 countries trying to be free and starting a big mess.

The irony is that if the people of England were allowed to vote on Scotland’s independence, the result would be most probably an overwhelming YES. Most of us south of the border are sick of hearing about Nicola Sturgeon and her failed referendum.
