I have yet to see the legislature that, having been given power over 1/6 of the US economy, willingly turns that power back to the states and respectively, to the people.
At this point, I couldn't care less! Let it stay and continue to crumble.
If the Republicans cannot agree on a deal that President Trump supported, the next option the American people will choose is Single Payer. The majority of this nation are sick and tired of professional politicians who cannot get anything done.

Too bad you haven’t studied up on all the times Trump has walked away from bad deals offered to him before, leaving a bank or somebody facing reality, that Trump’s deal was a whole lot better than getting totally stiffed.
Did you read “The Art Of The Deal”? Do you realize how many fantastic projects he has accomplished, ahead of schedule, on time, in countries all over the world?
Right now, he is just giving the pinhead congress-critters a little lesson in reality. They have been exposed as the idiots they are. He wins again both Dems and Rings at the same time.

One thing I do like, and it’s that Trump demanded a vote now.
He didn’t wait for them to diddle around with it.
It almost looks like he wants to call the vote so it will fail.
Now I know he says otherwise, but forcing the vote tomorrow makes it seem like he’s not as adamant about this as one might think.
